Sludge Gasification (water) : A process in which soluble and suspended organic matter are converted into gas by anaerobic decomposition. The resulting gas bubbles can become attached to the settled sludge and cause large clumps of sludge to rise and float on the water surface.
Pico (gen) : A prefix used in the metric system and other scientific systems of measurement which means 10-12 or 0.000 000 000 001.
