PPM (water) : Initials for "Parts Per Million." The number of weight or volume units of a minor constituent present with each one million units of the major constituent of a solution or mixture. Used to express the results of most water and wastewater analyses, but more recently milligrams per liter (mg/L) is the preferred term.
Coping (const) : A cap or finish on top of a wall, pier, chimney, or pilaster to prevent penetration of water to masonry wall.
