Concrete Block (const) : A machine-formed masonry building unit composed of portland cement, aggregates, and water.
Scooter (water) : A sewer cleaning tool whose cleansing action depends on the development of high water velocity around the outside edge of a circular shield. The metal shield is rimmed with a rubber coating and is attached to a framework on wheels (like a child's scooter). The angle of the shield is controlled by a chainspring system which regulates the head of water behind the scooter and thus the cleansing velocity of the water flowing around the shield.
ESKALASYON : Yüksek enflasyon nedeniyle girdi fiyatlarında görülen hızlı artışların sabit birim fiyatlarla ihalenin gerçekleştirilmesini engellediği için başvurulan bir yol. Eskalasyon fiyat farkı anlamında kullanılmaktadır.
Pilastr: Bir bölümü duvara gömülmüş ayak, gömme ayak. Pilastların çoğunda çıkıntı, görünen yüzün genişliğinin 1/3’ ünü geçmez. Pilastr zamanla taşıyıcı olmaktan uzaklaşarak bir süsleme öğesi durumuna gelmiştir.
