Commodity-Demand Method (water) : A cost allocation method used by water utilities to determine water rates for the various water user groups. This method considers the commodity costs (water, chemicals, power, amount of water use), demand costs (treatment, storage, distribution), customer costs (meter maintenance and reading, billing, collection, accounting) and fire protection costs.
Loss (const) : Consequences of a defect or failure, expressed in terms of costs, injuries, loss of life, etc.

Makaslama: 1. Çaprazlama 2. Bir kirişin mesnede yakın bir noktasına gelen yük, kesme kuvveti. Bir düzgün yayılı yük veya herhangi bir simetrik yük için maksimum makaslama, bir basit kirişte toplam yükünün yarısına; bir konsol kirişte ise yükünün tümüne eşittir.
