Stop Log (water) : A log or board in an outlet box or device used to control the water level in ponds.
Prechlorination (water) : The addition of chlorine at the headworks of the plant PRIOR TO other treatment processes mainly for disinfection and control of tastes, odors, and aquatic growths. Also applied to aid in coagulation and settling.
