Hydrology (water) : The applied science concerned with the waters of the earth in all their states - their occurrence, distribution, and circulation through the unending hydrologic cycle of precipitation, consequent runoff, stream flow, infiltration, and storage, eventual evaporation, and reprecipitation. Hydrology is concerned with the physical, chemical, and physiological reactions of water with the rest of the earth and its relation to the life of the earth.
Intrados (water) : The upper inside curve or surface of a sewer pipe or conduit.
ATAŞMAN DEFTERİ : Plan ve projeleri bulunmayan işlerle ilgili defter. Defterde sözkonusu imalatlara ait tartı,ölçü tutanaklarının yanısıra kroki,bilgi ve hesaplamalar kaydedilir. Bu defter kontrolör tarafından imzalı biçimde üstleniciye (müteahhit) verilir.
Anahtar teslimi : Bir yapının tüm gereç ve işçiliğinin yüklenici tarafından karşılanıp, bütünüyle bitirilmiş olarak mal sahibine teslim edilmesini öngören sözleşme şekli.
