Sludge Age (water) : A measure of the length of time a particle of suspended solids has been retained in the activated sludge process.
Pressure Head (water) : The vertical distance (in feet) equal to the pressure (in psi) at a specific point. The pressure head is equal to the pressure in psi times 2.31 ft/psi.
AVLU : Bir yapının veya yapı grubunun ortasında kalan, duvarla çevrili alan. Dış avluya “harim”,iç avluya ise “harem” denir.
Soğuk cephe: Yapı içinde oluşan ve difüzyon yoluyla gelen su buharını dışarıya atmak üzere tabakaları arasında bir havalandırma boşluğu bırakılmış cephe türü.
