O R P (water) : OxidationReduction Potential. The electrical potential required to transfer electrons from one compound or element (the oxidant) to another compound or element (the reductant); used as a qualitative measure of the state of oxidation in water treatment systems. ORP is measured in millivolts, with negative values indicating a tendency to reduce compounds or elements and positive values indicating a tendency to oxidize compounds or elements.
Well Isolation Zone (water) : The surface or zone surrounding a water well or well field, supplying a public water system, with restricted land uses to prevent contaminants from a not permitted land use to move toward and reach such water well or well field.
