Level Control (water) : A float device (or pressure switch) which senses changes in a measured variable and opens or closes a switch in response to that change. In its simplest form, this control might be a floating ball connected mechanically to a switch or valve such as is used to stop water flow into a toilet when the tank is full.
Viscosity (water) : A property of water, or any other fluid, which resists efforts to change its shape or flow. Syrup is more viscous (has a higher viscosity) than water. The viscosity of water increases significantly as temperatures decrease. Motor oil is rated by how thick (viscous) it is; 20 weight oil is considered relatively thin while 50 weight oil is relatively thick or viscous.

Kafes kiriş: Açıklık büyüdükçe kirişlerin yüksekliği artar; buna karşılık kirişin içini yer yer boşaltmak mümkündür. Boşaltma sonucunda kiriş, çekme ve basınç çubuklarından ibaret hale gelebilir. Böyle basınç ve çekme çubuklarından yapıla kirişlere kafes kiriş denir.
