Return Activated Sludge (RAS) (water) : Settled activated sludge that is collected in the secondary clarifier and returned to the aeration basin to mix with incoming raw or primary settled wastewater.

KUBBE : Küre takkesi, yarım küre veya toparlakça kümbet biçimi verilen yapı örtüsü; bir kemerin , yayının tepe noktasından inen dikin çevresinde dönmesiyle meydana gelen örtü. Kubbeler kare, çokgen ya da dairesel planları örtmekte kullanılmıştır.
Ana kiriş: Döşemelerden veya ikincil kirişlerden aldığı yükleri başka kirişlere değil de doğrudan doğruya kolonlara yada taşıyıcı duvarlara aktaran kiriş.
