Well Isolation Zone (water) : The surface or zone surrounding a water well or well field, supplying a public water system, with restricted land uses to prevent contaminants from a not permitted land use to move toward and reach such water well or well field. Also see WELLHEAD PROTECTION AREA (WHPA).
Current (water) : A movement or flow of electricity. Water flowing in a pipe is measured in gallons per second past a certain point, not by the number of water molecules going past a point. Electric current is measured by the number of coulombs per second flowing past a certain point in a conductor. A coulomb is equal to about 6.25 x 1018 electrons (6,250,000,000,000,000,000 electrons). A flow of one coulomb per second is called one ampere, the unit of the rate of flow of current.
