Building Services Design n Design of the building services elements within a construction. Normally specialist building services engineers will be responsible for this work on large projects. On smaller projects may fall within the responsibility of the architect.
Hallow Wall (const) : A wall of masonry so arranged as to provide an air space within the wall between the inner and outer wythes. A cavity wall is built of masonry units or plain concrete, or a combination of these materials, arranged to provide an air space within the wall, which may be filled with insulation, and in which inner and outer wythes are tied together with metal ties.
