Current (water) : A movement or flow of electricity. Water flowing in a pipe is measured in gallons per second past a certain point, not by the number of water molecules going past a point. Electric current is measured by the number of coulombs per second flowing past a certain point in a conductor. A coulomb is equal to about 6.25 x 1018 electrons (6,250,000,000,000,000,000 electrons). A flow of one coulomb per second is called one ampere, the unit of the rate of flow of current.
Tender (const) : An offer which incorporates the sum of money, time and other conditions required to carry out the contract obligations in order to complete a project or a part of it consisting of specified works.
ÇEŞME : Herkesin yararlanması için düzen altına alınan bir suyun akıtıldığı yapı.
Rampa: Eğik yol veya geçit. Yaya rampalarında eğim açısı en çok 20° (%36) olur; çizimlerde eğim oku –merdivendekinin aksine- iniş doğrultusunu gösterir. Otomobillerin %30’a kadar eğimli rampalara tırmanma gücü olduğu kabul edilirse de karayollarında rampa eğimleri çokluk %15’e kadar yapılır. Bu eğim yolun dönen bölümlerinde %8,5 i geçmez.
