Upper Explosive Limit (water) : The point at which the concentration of a gas in air becomes too great to allow an explosion upon ignition due to insufficient oxygen present.
Stabilization (water) : Conversion to a form that resists change. Organic material is stabilized by bacteria which convert the material to gases and other relatively inert substances. Stabilized organic material generally will not give off obnoxious odors.
