Tubercle (water) : A protective crust of corrosion products (rust) which builds up over a pit caused by the loss of metal due to corrosion.
Thermocline (water) : The middle layer in a thermally stratified lake or reservoir. In this layer there is a rapid decrease in temperature with depth. Also called the METALIMNION.
ŞAHNİŞ (Şahnişin) : Eski Türk evlerinde odanın sokağa ya da avluya doğru bakan üç yanı pencereli çıkıntısı.
