Grit Catcher (water) : A chamber usually placed at the upper end of a depressed collection line or at other points on combined or storm water collection lines where wear from grit is possible. The chamber is sized and shaped to reduce the velocity of flow through it and thus permit the settling out of grit. Also called a "sand catcher." See GRIT CHAMBER and SAND TRAP.
Artesian (water) : Pertaining to groundwater, a well, or underground basin where the water is under a pressure greater than atmospheric and will rise above the level of its upper confining surface if given an opportunity to do so.
YARARLANMA : İnşaatın bitişinden (kesin kabulden) önce, mal sahibi tarafından (öngörülen amaçla) kullanılması.
Göğüsleme: Bir aşığın veya ahşap kirişin yükünü alıp bir düşey taşıyıcıya ileten eğik basınç çubuğu.Çatıda göğüslemeler aşık açıklıklarını azalttıkları gibi çatının uzunluğu doğrultusunda rijitliği de sağlarlar.
