Supernatant (water) : Liquid removed from settled sludge. Supernatant commonly refers to the liquid between the sludge on the bottom and the scum on the water surface of a basin or container.
Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) (water) : All of the dissolved solids in a water. TDS is measured on a sample of water that has passed through a very fine mesh filter to remove suspended solids. The water passing through the filter is evaporated and the residue represents the dissolved solids. Also see SPECIFIC CONDUCTANCE.

Bağ kirişi: Düşey yüklemeye karşı çalışmayıp çekmeye çalışan ve elamanları konstrüktif olarak bağlayan betonarme kiriş. Bağ kirişi uzun nervürlü döşemelerde ve temellerde olur. Temellerde kullanılan bağ kirişlerine deprem (yada zelzele) kirişi adı da verilir.
