Cladding (const) : The external covering to the frame or structural walls of a building or structure. The veneer is non- loadbearing, and as such it is designed to carry only its own weight (dry and/or wet), and a limited number of loads such as wind and seism. In relationship with the structure it encloses, it can be either fully bonded or separated by an air barrier
Activated Sludge Process (water) : A biological wastewater treatment process which speeds up the decomposition of wastes in the wastewater being treated. Activated sludge is added to wastewater and the mixture (mixed liquor) is aerated and agitated. After some time in the aeration tank, the activated sludge is allowed to settle out by sedimentation and is disposed of (wasted) or reused (returned to the aeration tank) as needed. The remaining wastewater then undergoes more treatment.
KESON : Bir temel biçimi. Sağlam zeminin derinde olduğu durumlarda, daha geniş ve sağlam temel yapmak için zemin üzerinde içi boş olarak inşa edilir ve ağırlığından da yararlanılarak istenilen derinliğe indirilir.
Muskalı: Çatma yapıda, dikmeler ile çapraz bağlamaların meydana getirdikleri üçgen bölmeleri olan. Muskalı yapıda, üçgen boşluklar kerpiç, tuğla vb. gibi malzeme ile doldurulur ve yüzey sıvasız bırakılır.
