Construction Management (const) : The overall management of the processes required to bring the site operations of a project to a satisfactory conclusion, typically carried out either by a private consultant or an employee of the project client. Is a management form of contract synonymous with management contracting except that works contractors are appointed as direct contractors to the client, rather than as subcontractors to the contract manager.
Lower Flamable Limit (LFL) (water) : The lowest concentration of a gas or vapor (percent by volume in air) that burns if an ignition source is present.
