Storm Sewer (water) : A separate pipe, conduit or open channel (sewer) that carries runoff from storms, surface drainage, and street wash, but does not include domestic and industrial wastes. Storm sewers are often the recipients of hazardous or toxic substances due to the illegal dumping of hazardous wastes or spills created by accidents involving vehicles and trains transporting these substances. Building Services Design n Design of the building services elements within a construction. Normally specialist building services engineers will be responsible for this work on large projects. On smaller projects may fall within the responsibility of the architect.
