Cavitation (water) : The formation and collapse of a gas pocket or bubble on the blade of an impeller or the gate of a valve. The collapse of this gas pocket or bubble drives water into the impeller or gate with a terrific force that can cause pitting on the impeller or gate surface. Cavitation is accompanied by loud noises that sound like someone is pounding on the impeller or gate with a hammer.
Wye Strainer (water) : A screen shaped like the letter Y. The water flows in at the top of the Y and the debris in the water is removed in the top part of the Y.
KÜRESEL ÜÇGEN : Bir küre yüzeyi üzerinde belirtilen eğri kenarlı üçgen.
Portofo: Döşeme, kiriş gibi taşıyıcı yapı öğelerinin, duvarların veya ayakların üzerinden boşluğa doğru uzanan bölümünün durumunu anlatmakta kullanılan terim.
