Sloughing (water) : Biological or biomass growths which break off from the fixed film media. The "sloughed" biological growth becomes suspended in the fixed film effluent and is later removed in the secondary clarifier as sludge.
Hydrologic Cycle (water) : The process of evaporation of water into the air and its return to earth by precipitation (rain or snow). This process also includes transpiration from plants, groundwater movement, and runoff into rivers, streams and the ocean. Also called the WATER CYCLE.
DUVAR : Yapılarda taş, tuğla, briket, kerpiç ve benzeri gereçlerle yapılan düşey bölme öğesi. Ahşap ve benzeri gereçlerle yapılıp kolayca sökülebilenlerine bölme denilmektedir.
Harman tuğlası: Kil, killi toprak ve balçığın ayrı ayrı yada gerektiğinde su, kum,tuğla ve kiremit tozu kül vb ile karıştırılarak makinelerde biçimlendirilmesinden sahra fırınında pişirilmesiyle elde edilen tuğla.
