Float Line (water) : A length of rope or heavy twine attached to a float, plastic jug or parachute to be carried by the flow in a sewer from one manhole to the next. This is called "stringing the line" and is used for pulling through winch cables, such as for bucket machine work or closedcircuit television work.
pH Test Paper (water) : A strip of paper which is treated with several dyes that change color at narrow and different pH ranges. To determine the pH of a solution, place a drop of the solution on the test paper. Then compare the color that develops with the colors on a chart which relates color to pH. Also see LITMUS PAPER.
PREFABRİKASYON : Hazır elemanlar veya bileşenlerle yapı kurma; şantiye çalışmalarının olanak ölçüsünde fabrika çalışması haline getirilmesi ve hazır yapı elemanlarının yapı yerinde montajı ile yapılan inşaat.
Beton: Çimento, kum ve çakıl yada kırma taşın uygun miktarda su ile karıştırılmasıyla elde edilen ve özelliklerini çimentonun hidratasyonu ile kazana karışım. Beton başlangıçta plastiktir, sonra katılaşıp sertleşerek taş benzeri bir kitle görünüşü alır.
