Hypolimnion (water) : The lowest layer in a thermally stratified lake or reservoir. This layer consists of colder, more dense water, has a constant temperature and no mixing occurs.
Groundwater (water) : Subsurface water in the saturation zone from which wells and springs are fed. In a strict sense the term applies only to water below the water table. Also called "phreatic water" and "plerotic water."
AVLU : Bir yapının veya yapı grubunun ortasında kalan, duvarla çevrili alan. Dış avluya “harim”,iç avluya ise “harem” denir.
Cihannüma : Her tarafı seyredebilmek için bazı ev çatılarının üstüne yapılan oda veya teras.
