Compaction Test (water) : Any method of determining the weight a compacted material is able to support without damage or displacement. Usually stated in pounds per square foot.
Flusher Branch (water) : A line built specifically to allow the introduction of large quantities of water to the collection system so the linescan be "flushed out" with water. Also installed to provide access for equipment to clear stoppages in a sewer.
