Imhoff Cone (water) : A clear, coneshaped container marked with graduations. The cone is used to measure the volume of settleable solids in a specific volume (usually one liter) of water.
Finished Water (water) : Water that has passed through a water treatment plant; all the treatment processes are completed or "finished." This water is ready to be delivered to consumers. Also called PRODUCT WATER.
BİNGİ (küresel bingi) : 1. Sivri tonoz kaburgalarının arasını dolduran küresel üçgen parçalardan her biri. 2. Bir kubbeyi taşıyan kemerlerin arasında yer alan ve kare plandan yuvarlak plana geçişi sağlayan küresel üçgen, pandantif.
Çekme: Çekilen bir cisimde meydana gelen zorlama; bir cismi koparmaya çalışan kuvvet veya gerilme. Beton basınca çelik çekmeye çalışır.
