Noncompatible Pollutants (water) : Those pollutants which are normally NOT removed by the POTW treatment system. These pollutants may be a toxic waste and may pass through the POTW untreated or interfere with the treatment system. Examples of noncompatible pollutants include heavy metals such as copper, nickel, lead, and zinc; organics such as methylene chloride, 1,1,1trichloroethylene, methyl ethyl ketone, acetone, and gasoline; or sludges containing toxic organics or metals.
Subsystem (water) : An extensive underground sewer system connected to the main collection system, but not considered part of the main system. An example might be the underground sewer system of a mobile home park.
HIZLI YOL : Bir tasarım işini tüm tasarım bitmeden önce inşaata başlanabilecek biçimde evrelere ayırma sürecidir. Böylece inşaat evresi ile tasarım evresi (kısmen) örtüşürler
Reks bloğu: Reks döşeme yapmakta kullanılan, taşıyıcı, pişmiş toprak blok. Bu blokların üst ve altlarında betonarme demirleri için özel kanallar vardır. Reks kirişleri hazırlanırken, harman suyunu emmemeleri için reks blokları ıslatılır.
